Job Title: AGM- Quality Assurance (RMG)
Department: Quality Department
Reports To: Head of QA
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Planning & Standards
- Develop and implement quality assurance plans, policies, and SOPs.
- Ensure production follows buyer’s specifications, technical files, and compliance standards.
Pre-Production Activities
- Check fabrics, trims, and accessories before bulk production.
- Approve pre-production samples (PPS) and ensure bulk matches the approved sample.
In-Process Quality Control
- Monitor production lines and perform in-line inspections.
- Ensure AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) and buyer-specific quality standards are maintained.
- Identify potential defects early to reduce rejection and wastage.
Final Quality Assurance
- Conduct pre-final and final inspections before shipment.
- Verify finishing, measurement, labeling, packing, and carton quality.
- Approve or reject shipment based on inspection results.
Problem Solving & Corrective Actions
- Investigate root causes of quality issues.
- Suggest corrective and preventive actions to production teams.
- Follow up on corrective measures to ensure implementation.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain inspection reports, buyer audit files, and compliance records.
- Provide regular quality feedback to management and buyers.
Team Coordination & Training
- Train line QC/quality controllers on quality standards.
- Work closely with production, merchandising, and compliance teams.
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure compliance with buyer’s Code of Conduct, safety, and environmental standards.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative field from a reputed university. An MBA is a plus.
Experience
- 10-12 Years in the RMG field
